About Us

Equilibrium Global Accelerator

The Equilibrium Global Accelerator (EGA) is a technical assistance facility where the commercial capabilities of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) support the deployment of climate funds to deliver mitigation and adaptation using nature-based and hybrid projects. EGA has a fit-for-purpose structure; a rigorous EPC risk-management system and project-delivery process that positions it as a perfect “side car” for green, blue, and SDG and sustainability linked funds.

EGA’s mission is to empower local companies in emerging and frontier markets to deliver infrastructure projects for effective climate mitigation and adaptation. EGA commits to delivering comprehensive EPC support, innovative solutions, expert guidance, and partnerships that mitigate the impacts of climate change on strategic economic sectors in ways that benefit local communities and ecosystems.

The objectives of the EGA are to:

De-risk investments in growth companies that have products, services, and projects designed to mitigate and adapt to changing climate conditions. It does this by reducing vulnerability and enhancing long-term sustainability within key economic sectors (e.g., agriculture, transportation, energy, housing, health).

Facilitate hybrid investments that reduce carbon emissions, strengthen resilient infrastructure, and promote nature-based solutions.

Integrate climate data and technology to inform decision-making processes, improve early warning systems, and enhance the adaptive capabilities of businesses and projects.

Track the effectiveness of technical support to investments, ensuring transparency and accountability and showing contributions to the SDGs.
